Applicants and Recommendations - Definitions

👥 Understanding Applicants vs. Recommendations in Myn

When you post a job on the Myn Portal, there are two main ways candidates can show up in your system:

  1. Applicants – people who apply to your job directly

  2. Recommendations – people Myn suggests based on the job details

Here’s how to tell them apart and where to find each group.

✅ Applicants: Who They Are and Where to Find Them

Who are Applicants?
These are candidates who have seen your job and decided to apply.

You can think of them as people raising their hands and saying, "I'm interested!"

🔎 Where to Find Applicants

You can view applicants in two places:

  1. Inside the specific job you posted:

    • Go to the Vacancy list and choose the vacancy you want to work on

    • From the Dashboard you can navigate to the applications tab

    • Click to view the list of Applications for that role

  1. In the Applications Tab on the left menu:

    • This shows all applicants across every job you've posted

✅ Recommendations: Who They Are and Where to Find Them

Who are Recommendations?
These are candidates that Myn suggests to you. They haven't applied yet, but the system thinks they could be a great match based on your job details.

Myn looks at:

  • The skills needed for the job

  • The candidate’s location

  • Their rate and availability

  • Whether they are allowed to work in the job location

📌 Think of Recommendations as a helpful list of "People you should check out."

🔎 Where to Find Recommendations

  • Go to the Vacancy Dashboard for the job

  • Look for a section called “Recommendations”
