🧾 How to Create a New Vacancy in the Myn Portal
Posting a new job (vacancy) in Myn is quick and simple. This guide will show you how to get started and where to go next. You’ll also find links to step-by-step help for each part of the job posting form.
✅ Step 1: Go to the Vacancies Section

Log into the Myn Portal.

Look at the left-hand menu on the screen.

Click on the “Vacancies” tab.
➕ Step 2: Start a New Vacancy

After clicking on “Vacancies,” you’ll land on the Vacancies page.

In the top-right corner, click the “Create” button.
This will open the vacancy creation form.
🧩 Step 3: Complete the 4-Step Vacancy Form
Each step gathers different details about the job. Here’s what to expect:
🔹 1. Description
This is where you explain what the job is about.

Job Title – What is the role called? (e.g., Customer Service Assistant)

Job Description – A short overview of the job

Responsibilities – Main tasks the person will do

Requirements – Skills or experience needed
🔹 2. Details
Add the key dates and job location.

Start Date – When the job should begin

End Date (if known)

Location – Where the job is based

Contract Type– Expected hours per week or shift times
🔍 3. Search/Skills
After you’ve reviewed the job in the Overview step, you may see a Search/Skills section.

This tool automatically generates skills based on your job description

You can add, remove, or adjust the suggested skills to help match your vacancy with the right candidates
🔹 4. Overview
This is your chance to double-check everything.

Review all the information you entered

Click “Edit” if you need to change anything

Make sure all the details are correct before submitting
🔹 5. Submit Your Vacancy
Once you're happy with everything:

Click the “Publish” button.

You’ll see a confirmation message once it’s live.

Depending on your account setup, you might also see these extra sections during the vacancy creation process:

Upload any forms or documents you want applicants to complete

Common examples: ID checks, right-to-work forms, or onboarding documents
🔗 VMS (For Supplier Users Only)

Use this section to link the vacancy to an assignment

Select the correct assignment from the dropdown list if you're managing jobs for a client
🎉 All Done!
You’ve now created and submitted a new job vacancy in the Myn VMS Portal. Your vacancy is now live and ready for candidates.
To make changes later, go back to the Vacancies tab, find your job, and click on it to edit.
