Creating a new Vacancy - Details
📌 How to Define a Job Vacancy on the Myn Portal
When you’re creating a new job posting (called a vacancy), Myn will guide you through entering key details. These details help describe the role and make sure the right candidates can find and apply for it.
Don’t worry — it’s all very simple, and you’ll fill it out one step at a time.
🛠 What You’ll Be Asked to Fill In
Here’s a list of the main fields you’ll see when creating a vacancy — plus a few helpful notes for each one:
1. Location
-
Where the job is based (e.g., "London", "Remote", "Manchester Office").
2. Rates
-
Enter the pay range or salary.
-
Example: “£200–£250 per day” or “£30,000–£35,000 per year.”
3. Employment Type
-
Choose if this is a Permanent job or a Contract role, or if you do not currently know you can mark it as To Be Confirmed.
- If you choose Contract you will also be required to fill in the contract length.
4. Start Date
-
Let candidates know when the job is expected to begin.
- You can choose As soon as possible, or a specific date.
5. Number of Positions
-
How many people you need to hire for this role.
6. Job Reference Number
-
This is an ID you create to help track and find this job later.
-
Make it something simple but unique (e.g., “Sales2025-UK01”).
🎯 Why These Fields Matter
By filling out all of these fields clearly and accurately, you:
-
Help Myn match your job with the right candidates
-
Make your vacancy easier to manage and track later
-
Avoid confusion or duplicate postings
