How to Send a Direct Recommendation in the Myn Portal

If you want to recommend a candidate directly for a job, follow these simple steps. This guide will walk you through it one step at a time.

📝 What You’ll Need:

  • The email address the candidate used to sign up to Myn.

  • A job vacancy you want to recommend them for.


🔐 Step 1: Log in to the Myn Portal

  1. Open your web browser (like Chrome or Safari).

  2. Go to the Myn Portal login page and login as usual.


🔍 Step 2: Go to “Candidate Search”

  1. Look at the menu on the left side of your screen.

  2. Click on "Candidate Search."


📧 Step 3: Search for the Candidate

  1. In the search bar, type the candidate’s email address (the one they used to sign up).

  2. Press Enter or click the Search icon.


✅ Step 4: Select the Candidate

  1. Once the candidate appears, look at their Candidate Card.

  2. Click the checkbox in the top right corner of that card to select them.


📤 Step 5: Click “Send” to Recommend

  1. After selecting the candidate, look for the section that says “Profile Recommendation Selected.”

  2. Click the Send button next to it.


📄 Step 6: Choose a Job Vacancy

  1. A pop-up window will appear.

  2. From the list, choose the job you want to recommend the candidate for.


💬 Step 7: Write Your Message

  1. In the message box, type a short note to the candidate.

    • This will be sent to them by email.

    • Example: “Hi Alex, I think this role would be a great fit for you!”


🚀 Step 8: Send the Recommendation

  1. When you're happy with the message, click the Send button.

  2. The candidate will get an email with your recommendation and a link to apply.


🎉 You're Done!

You’ve successfully sent a direct recommendation to your candidate. They’ll receive your message by email and can apply to the vacancy directly from the link.
