How To Use Tags

🏷️ How to Create and Add Tags to a Candidate in Myn Portal

Tags help you keep track of important information about candidates — like specific skills, if they’re a good fit, or if you want to review them later. You can also use tags to help your team by sharing useful notes.

This guide will walk you through how to add a tag to a candidate's application.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Opening a candidate's application.

  • Creating a new tag (e.g. "Java").

  • Saving that tag so you can filter or search later.

🔹 Step 1: Go to the Candidate’s Application

  1. Log in to the Myn Portal.

  2. Find the vacancy (job) the candidate applied for.

  3. Click on the candidate’s name to open their application.

🔹 Step 2: Open the Tag Tab

  1. On the candidate’s card, click the “Tag” tab.

🔹 Step 3: Click the “Add” Button

  1. Click the “Add” button to start creating a new tag.

🔹 Step 4: Enter the Tag Name

  1. In the Name field, type what you want the tag to say.

    • You can use anything helpful, like “Java”, “Good Fit”, or “Follow Up Later”.

For this example, we’ll use the tag name: Java
👉 If "Java" already exists as a tag, it will appear in a dropdown list. Just click it.

🔹 Step 5: Add a Value for the Tag

  1. In the Value field, enter a short word or phrase.

    • For example, if the candidate has Java experience, you could type “Yes”.

This helps clarify why the tag was added.

🔹 Step 6: Save the Tag

  1. Click the “Save” button.

Your tag is now added to the candidate!

🔍 Step 7: Filter Candidates by Tags

Once tags are added, you can search for them easily later.

You can filter candidates using tags in:

  • The Applications page for a specific job.

  • The main Applications section in the left-hand menu.

  • The Candidate Search feature.

Just choose the tag (like “Java”) and you'll see all the candidates with that tag.

🎉 You’re Done!

You’ve successfully added a tag to a candidate and learned how to filter using tags. This helps you and your team stay organized and find the right candidates faster.
