Prescreening Interviews

🎥 How to Set Up a Prescreening Interview in Myn

Before you invite a candidate for a full interview, it’s helpful to ask them a few questions first—on video. This is called a prescreening interview.

With Myn, you can send candidates a set of questions, and they’ll record video answers that you can watch at your convenience.

📝 How to Set One Up (Step-by-Step)

1. Open the Job Vacancy

  • Go to the Applications page for the job you’re hiring for.


2. Find the Candidate

  • Click on the name of the candidate you want to prescreen.


3. Go to the "Interviews" Tab

  • Once you're on the candidate’s profile, click on the “Interviews” tab on the candidate card.


4. Click “New Interview”

  • You’ll see a button that says “New Interview”. Click it.

  • Then you’ll see two options:

    • New Interview

    • New Prescreening Interview

  • Click on “New Prescreening Interview.”


5. Choose a Question Template

  • A dropdown will appear showing interview templates you can choose from.

  • These templates include the questions the candidate will answer on video.


6. Review and Confirm

  • Look over the list of questions.

  • If you're happy with them, click “Create Interview.”


7. Done! Candidate Gets an Email

  • The candidate will get an email with a link to record and submit their video answers.
